Maria Anagnopoulou

Psychologist
Maria Anagnopoulou holds a degree in Sociology from Panteion University and a degree in Psychology from Wrexham University (United Kingdom). She is a licensed psychologist. She is currently completing the University of Patras Master’s programme in “Child and Adolescent Mental Health – Addictions and New Technologies,” while also undertaking a three-year postgraduate training programme in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Maria has worked in psychosocial support services, providing parent counselling and conducting social history assessments as part of the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD) programmes run by the Region of Western Greece. She has also coordinated activities and provided administrative support for educational and creative workshops for children aged 6 to 16.
Maria has completed year-long professional development programmes in Child Psychology and Applied Criminology and has also attended seminars on child and adolescent psychiatry, emotional development, and social skills in early childhood. She has a good command of English (B2 level – Michigan) and holds an ECDL certification in computer skills.
